EEMUA is an official partner in the EU-OSHA* European ‘Healthy Workplaces’ Campaign 2012-13 on risk prevention. In the UK the title translates more accurately as "working together on risk management". The campaign is designed to enhance health and safety in the workplace.
Proper identification and management of risk forms an essential component in the effective management of industrial assets, and plays a key role in helping to prevent workplace accidents.
EEMUA is founded on the belief that by working together, sharing information and expertise in risk management, businesses can more effectively ensure the right levels of competence in their workforce and quality in the industrial work environment. Such collaborative efforts contribute directly to employee health, safety, organisational effectiveness and performance.
Today EEMUA operates internationally, providing businesses with the collaborative networks, the guidance and the competence development schemes they need in order to manage risk more effectively throughout the life of industrial assets.
