EEMUA Conference 2019 – Registration is now open!

04 October 2018

I am thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the EEMUA Conference 2019. The event will run for two days on March 6-7, 2019 in Bolton, Greater Manchester. If you’re an owner, operator or user of engineering equipment and materials, this is an event you can’t afford to miss!

The topical conference theme of 'Leadership, Asset Integrity and Engagement: Addressing the gap in the middle' will fully explore how best to overcome the disconnect between behaviour, leadership, asset management and asset integrity in a challenging risk environment. We’ve managed to secure an impressive line-up of speakers, featuring industry experts from HSE, SABIC, Tata Steel, and more, who will share their expertise and learning through an inspired mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions and workshops.

To ensure a truly relevant experience, delegates will have a choice of three conference streams to attend, encompassing:
  • Leadership.
  • Mechanical, Pressure and Structures.
  • Electrical, Instrumentation and Control.
The conference not only facilitates access to compelling industry-driven content, but will also provide a perfect platform to network with like-minded peers from the professional engineering community. We also thought it important to inject some fun into the proceedings, so on the evening of March 6, we will be hosting an enjoyable evening reception.

Oh, and did I mention the location? This year we’ve opted for the unique Bolton Whites Hotel which is fully integrated into the University of Bolton Stadium (home of Bolton Wanderers football club). The sporting enthusiasts amongst you will be thrilled to hear that the main conference room offers stunning panoramic views of the stadium. This venue is ideal, not only because of its quirky ambience, but also because of its fantastic location, i.e. the hotel is situated directly opposite Horwich Parkway station, which opens up the doors to the North West and beyond, with regular direct trains to Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Bolton, Preston, Blackpool and more.

Does it all sound exciting?  Don’t take our word for it. To get a flavour of what to expect, take a look at some of the highlights from our 2017 conference; and then head over to our dedicated conference microsite to learn more about the 2019 event. If you like what you see, be sure to register by October 31 to benefit from our early bird discount.

We look forward to welcoming you to the EEMUA Conference 2019.
