Developing competency in the aftermath of Piper Alpha

04 July 2018

The failure to address some long-standing safety issues was acknowledged as a significant factor in the Piper Alpha disaster which happened 30 years ago this month. However, such failures are not a one industry problem, they highlight the role of the Responsible Person.

If you are in that role how do you ensure that your priorities and actions are based on sound judgement, industry good practice and a risk based approach rather than such common stock responses as ‘last in, first out’ or ‘first come, first served’.

These issues form the basis of the EEMUA webinar on Friday 13 July 2018 at 12.30-13.15 (UTC +1).

You can register for the webinar on the Calendar page here.
