Have an idea for a presentation?

EEMUA events provide speakers the opportunity to demonstrate their expertise, knowledge and experience, as well as to network with others who face similar challenges in optimising plant safety, quality, cost and performance.

We are accepting presentation proposals for the following seminars:

  • 23 June 2022, Engineering the Energy Transition Seminar near Rotterdam -  How can old and new work together? What are the key new things that must be learnt, and what hard won engineering experience must not be forgotten? What must engineers know now to engineer the future?
  • 7 July 2022, Industry 4.0 Seminar Live Online Seminar - Industry is changing, upgrading; more responsive, individualised, and flexible. But what implications does that have for engineering, from control systems to integrity inspections, as we move to Industry 4.0? Learn how things are changing at this crucial event.
  • 7 September 2022, Inspection Seminar near Telford - New techniques in inspection must offer advantages for operators if they are to achieve adoption. This seminar looks at the bottom-line benefits currently achievable, and issues holding back adoption of some techniques.
  • 29 September 2022, Mechanical Integrity Seminar near Birmingham - Preventing the escape of potentially hazardous fluids is one of the key duties of site operators. Achieving this, day in day out, when plant is ageing, or obscured, can be challenging. Learn routes to success at this event.
  • 24 November 2022, Storage Tanks Seminar near London - The world’s fleet of storage tanks are currently working harder than ever. So are the people tasked with keeping them safe. How are systems coping with the strain, and what implications does this have for the future? Learn about what the industry needs to do to cope.

All proposals received will be evaluated by EEMUA for the particular event. Sessions at EEMUA technical events are scheduled for 40 minutes (comprising a 30 minute presentation with 10 minutes for discussion and questions).
