What is a STEM Ambassador?
STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds who use their enthusiasm and expertise to bring STEM subjects to life. They work with schools, colleges, and community groups to support learning and raise awareness of STEM careers.

How to Get Involved
- Register Online:You’ll need to register through STEM Learning UK, which includes completing an induction and a free DBS check.
- Complete Training: Access resources and guidance to prepare for your role.
- Start Inspiring: Connect with schools and organisations to begin volunteering.

Get involved with STEMboots
As a STEM Ambassador you can get involved with STEMboots, an initiative by EEMUA, dedicated to igniting curiosity and ambition in 14–16 year old's, empowering them to become future innovators and trailblazers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Through meaningful outreach, engaging STEM campaigns, digital storytelling and a strong social media presence, STEMboots helps young people see themselves represented in engineering and other STEM fields. The initiative empowers them to move beyond simply observing to actively creating, building confidence as future innovators and leaders and ultimately contributing to shaping the future of industry, technology and society.
