EEMUA is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Lewis to its board of directors as a non-executive member Director.

The EEMUA Board provides leadership for carrying out the aims and objectives of the Association, primarily to help members and stakeholders worldwide to improve the safety, efficiency and compliance of some of the world's most important industrial assets.

Christian is the In-Service Inspection Manager at EET Fuels, based at Stanlow Refinery in north-west England. He is a Chartered Engineer holding an MSc in Corrosion Engineering and has over 30 years’ experience in inspection, equipment integrity, and materials corrosion.

On his appointment Christian said: “I am keen to contribute to EEMUA as a board member, as I believe my extensive, international career experience will offer valuable insights in helping guide and support the offering the Association provides to the engineering sector worldwide. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to take on this role and make a meaningful contribution."

EEMUA would like to thank Richard Davies who has stood down from the EEMUA Board after serving as a non-executive member Director for five years. Richard made many valuable contributions to the Association during his time on the Board, bringing a wealth of experience and providing guidance to help further the mission of the organisation. His contribution to development of the EEMUA Awards has helped recognise and celebrate those who help industry improve on safety, efficiency, and compliance. Richard continues to be involved in the EEMUA Council.

Speaking of the recent changes, John Whitfield, EEMUA Chair said: “I am delighted to welcome Christian to EEMUA’s Board. I wish him every success in this appointment and look forward to his active participation driving EEMUA forward. I would also like to thank Richard for his tenure as an EEMUA Director. Richard brought an abundance of experience and knowledge which will be missed. I look forward to catching up with him at future EEMUA events."
