EEMUA is pleased to welcome Greenergy’s Plymouth terminal as a corporate member, recognising the facility’s commitment to maintaining strong engineering, safety and asset management standards across its operations. Greenergy’s Plymouth terminal – operating as a top-tier COMAH establishment – joins the association as part of its ongoing focus on robust major hazard management and continuous improvement.
As a top-tier COMAH site, the Plymouth terminal is required to demonstrate effective control of major accident hazards, high levels of operational discipline and a strong safety culture. Membership of EEMUA directly supports these obligations by providing access to authoritative technical guidance, competency development resources and cross-industry collaboration that reinforces good practice in asset integrity, inspection, maintenance and risk reduction.
David Wrench, Terminal Manager, commented: “Joining EEMUA reflects our continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, engineering integrity and operational excellence at our Plymouth terminal. We look forward to collaborating with industry peers and further strengthening our approach to major hazard management”.
EEMUA looks forward to working with Greenergy as it engages with the association’s technical committees, training programmes and user forums. This collaboration will help ensure the Plymouth terminal continues to strengthen its approach to major hazard management in line with regulatory expectations and industry benchmarks.
