Introduction

EEMUA's Asset Integrity Leadership Certificate (AILC(R)) training course is based on EEMUA's AILC Competency Framework. It is designed for new and existing leaders on COMAH/Seveso III sites or other high hazard industrial installations.

The in-depth four month course prepares and supports leaders for the challenges they face in the key areas consistently highlighted by national safety regulators. It also addresses what can be the decisive factor beyond policies, procedures, standards and good practice - leadership on high risk sites. The course involves Learners preparing a Portfolio of Work tailored to their role, responsibilities and organisation. In this way, AILC delivers clear benefits, value and actions for the companies taking part. Learn more about AILC by watching a short video here.

Induction for this blended learning course takes approximately two hours and is available from 6 February 2026, after registration. Four Learning Cycles run consecutively commencing in March 2026, requiring approximately three hours of time each Learning Week until the Portfolio of Work is submitted at the end of August 2026. Completing this training course is equivalent to 55 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
