Guest Speaker: Tim Harford OBE

We’re honoured to welcome Tim Harford OBE — economist, broadcaster, and bestselling author — as our guest speaker. Known for his Financial Times column The Undercover Economist and BBC Radio 4’s More or Less, Tim is celebrated for making complex ideas accessible and engaging. He’s the author of several acclaimed books, including How to Make the World Add Up and Messy, and hosts the popular podcast Cautionary Tales. Awarded an OBE for services to economic understanding, Tim brings a unique blend of insight, storytelling, and wit — promising an inspiring and thought-provoking keynote.

Date and Time: 12 November 2025, 18:00 - 23:30  
Venue: The Cottons Hotel & Spa is located just outside of Knutsford, close to the M6 and M56 and with a free car park for 180 cars. 
Address: Manchester Road, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0SU.
Accommodation: Contact the hotel directly to check availability and make a reservation. 
Accommodation is not covered by EEMUA unless stipulated.

Full Table Tickets (8 seats): £1,020 plus VAT 
Half Table Tickets (4 seats): £510 plus VAT

If you would like to pay on invoice, select the 'Invoice' payment option when booking. Invoices need to be cleared within 30 days of booking or 30 days before the event. (whichever comes first).
