EEMUA Members' Information Sheet 60, ‘Special requirements for non-return valves (check valves) used for machine applications’, provides a brief introduction to non-return (or check) valves and their uses, and helps the user understand the impact upon failures on non-return valves. The information sheet also assists in the appropriate updating or development of machinery equipment safety cases and maintenance documents. EEMUA has developed this document to address issues derived from extensive user experience and help ensure safe installation and operation of non-return valves at facilities.
