European bulk liquid storage provider Inter Terminals has extended its membership of EEMUA to now include its Swedish and Danish operations. This means all of the company’s operations are now within scope of membership.
Gary Lacy, Engineering Director for Inter Terminals, commented about the development: “The harmonisation of asset integrity management to ensure consistent safety, operations and reliability standards throughout our expanding European network is of fundamental importance to Inter Terminals. The international focus of EEMUA, particularly for technical guidance publications and personnel competence certification, will assist us in this, and we are pleased to add our Danish and Swedish facilities to the existing UK, Ireland and German operations so that they may also share experiences and participate in EEMUA activities.”
The Inter Terminals business is one of the largest independent bulk liquid storage providers in northern Europe, and the largest in Scandinavia, with more than 4.25 million cubic metres of storage capacity (approximately 27 million barrels) located across sixteen terminals.
